Congregation Bet Chaim was founded in 1991 out of the desire for a smaller congregation - a place where everyone knows your name. 

We are a small Reform Jewish congregation located in Seminole county. We strive to create an atmosphere rich in tradition that observes our Jewish beliefs and develops a community of fellowship. We welcome all peoples including interfaith families, LBGTQ+ peoples, and Jews-by-choice. We believe that people are what make the difference in a synagogue and that our family/ community should be at the forefront of our congregation.

Shabbat services are held every third and fifth Friday evening at 7 PM. The first Friday of the month is Tot Shabbat night. This Family Service begins at 6:30 PM. Children are always welcome at all Shabbat services; however, Tot Shabbat is written especially for them.

We do not utilize a traditional dues structure for membership, but inside rely on open donations. We do this to ensure that everyone feels welcome and no one misses out on community because of finances. We know some are able to give more than others. We ask that members give what they can, whether that be $10 or $1000.
