HEBREW SCHOOL

At Congregation Bet Chaim, we know how important it is for children to have the right Jewish education. We believe in providing our community’s young minds with all the tools, wisdom and resources they need in order to keep them grounded.

We are excited to announce that Congregation Bet Chaim has joined MAGAL, an education collective of local synagogues. MAGAL serves as a joint Hebrew School for children for Temple Israel, Temple Shir Shalom, Congregation Beth Am, and now Congregation Bet Chaim!

Magal is the Hebrew word for circle and a symbol of oneness.  Although each congregation has its unique character, we are one in our commitment to provide a strong Jewish education and identity to our children.  We are so happy and excited that our children have twice as many Jewish students with whom to connect!

All Classes are held at Temple Israel, 50 Moss Road in Winter Springs.  School times are Sundays 9:00am- 12:30pm for all children in grades K-7. The Temple Israel students in grades 3-7 also attend classes on Wednesdays from 5pm-6:30pm.  CBC students are not required to attend on Wednesdays, but are always welcome. Temple Israel uses the time on Wednesdays to cover material specific to a Conservative setting.

For more information can be found, please contact our Vice President, Matt Loory. He can answer any questions you may have and get you registered.

MAGAL tuition is as follows (and paid directly to Congregation Bet Chaim). Payments can be split up.

K-2nd: $375.00

3rd-7th: $525.00
